Strategy notes
Intelligence Tradecraft develops the Spying discipline within Shared Foundations. It gives every empire an explicit starting point for offensive intelligence research before more specialized clandestine networks become available. Its immediate value is access to later Spying technologies and strategic combinations. The principal counterpressure is investment in Counter Spying and secure administration.
Player hints
This is the shared foundation for the Spying branch. Research it to begin developing covert access and foreign intelligence capabilities, then follow it with Clandestine Access Networks or Basic Surveillance Equipment.
